How much RAM does a modded server need?
A light mod list with a few friends runs on about 4 GB; most of the modpacks above are recommended at 5 GB. Bigger packs and bigger groups need more: see our modpack RAM guide or work it out with the RAM calculator. Right now you can order 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 or 12 GB.
What every server includes
- Automatic daily backups, plus your own backups any time from the panel, and a one-click restore. Restores are free.

yourserver.play.packyard.ca. - Your full RAM is reserved for you whenever your server is running.
- Every server sits behind our DDoS-filtered network.

$1.50 per GB of RAM per month, with a $5 minimum (up to 3 GB).

FAQ
Can I add my own mods?
Yes. Pick Fabric, NeoForge or Forge and upload your mods in the panel's web file manager (the mods folder), then restart.
Do my friends need the mods?
Yes. For most mods, every player needs the same pack and version as the server.
Can I bring my existing world?
Yes. Small files go through the panel's web file manager. For a big world or a whole server folder, connect with an SFTP client such as FileZilla or WinSCP, using the SFTP details on your server's Settings page in the panel.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time from the panel.
