PACKYARDJoin the beta waitlist

Privacy

Who runs this: Packyard is run by Interdatum Systems Incorporated, a British Columbia, Canada company, 5053 Cambria Wood Terrace, Victoria, BC V8Y 2X1, Canada. We follow Canada's privacy law (PIPEDA and BC PIPA). Questions or requests go to our Privacy Officer: privacy@packyard.ca.

What we collect on the waitlist: your email, your country, your answers to the form, the country your connection came from (looked up from your IP address when you sign up; we don't keep the address), the link or code you arrived with, the date, and a record that you ticked the consent box. What we don't do: no advertising trackers and no cookies. Our analytics (Umami) is cookieless and doesn't identify you. We never sell your data.

Why: to invite you to the beta (which opens to the US & Canada (outside Quebec) first) and send beta news, to decide which packs, regions and countries to support next, and to credit whoever referred you.

Where: our systems and our email provider are in the United States and Canada, so some of your data is stored outside Canada and may be accessible to US authorities under US law.

How long: until the beta ends plus 12 months, or until you unsubscribe. Unconfirmed signups are deleted after 30 days. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. After you unsubscribe, we keep only your email address on a do-not-email list.

Your rights: you can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw consent, by emailing privacy@packyard.ca. We reply within 30 days. You can also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca) or, in BC, the OIPC (oipc.bc.ca). EU/UK residents can contact their data protection authority.
