Packyard Partner Terms

1. Who. These terms are between you ("Partner") and Interdatum Systems Incorporated, trading as Packyard ("we"). There's no contract term and no exclusivity. Either side can end it at any time by email.

2. Your code. You get a referral code and link (https://packyard.ca/?ref=CODE). A "Referred Customer" is a new Packyard customer who signs up through your link or code. The first code used wins, and it can't be changed later.

2a. What your code gives your audience.

• During the beta: priority beta spots. Code holders are invited before the general waitlist. Every beta tester pays the same 50% beta price, so the code adds no extra discount.
• After the beta: 20% off the Referred Customer's first paid month, once per new customer. Nothing ongoing, and it can't be combined with other offers. Customers who joined during the beta don't get it again.
• We may change what the code gives new customers with 30 days' notice (see §10).

3. Commission. 20% of Net Payments from your Referred Customers, for each customer's first 6 full-price paid months.

• Net Payments = what the customer pays us, minus card/processing fees, refunds and chargebacks, and excluding sales tax/VAT.
• Full-price means payments at our normal price. Beta-discounted payments (50% off during the beta) earn no commission. Each customer's 6-month window starts at their first full-price payment.
• A first month bought with the 20%-off code (§2a) counts as month 1 of the window. Commission is 20% of what was actually paid, net.
• No commission on your own servers, your sponsored server, servers bought with your own card or account, or other self-referrals.

4. Payout. Monthly, 30 days in arrears, so refunds and disputes have time to show up. The minimum payout is $25, and smaller balances roll over. Paid by bank transfer or PayPal (your choice). You're responsible for your own taxes. We may ask for the details we need to pay you legally (e.g. a tax form).

5. Clawback. If a payment we paid commission on is later refunded or disputed, we take that commission back from your next payout.

6. Sponsored server. We may give you a free server (up to 8 GB unless agreed otherwise) for your community, series or pack testing for as long as we work together. At month 3 we review it with you. It stays if you have around 6 or more active paying referrals. Otherwise we may downsize it or end it, with 14 days' notice and a world download so nothing is lost. The server is subject to our normal acceptable-use rules.

7. Flat fees (if agreed). Any one-off fee for a sponsor segment is agreed in writing beforehand and paid only after the segment is published.

8. Disclosure. Any mention you're paid for or earn commission on must be clearly disclosed as sponsored or an affiliate link, following the FTC, the UK ASA/CMA, and the platform's own tools (e.g. YouTube's "includes paid promotion"). Don't make claims about Packyard that aren't on our website: no uptime, "lag-free" or TPS promises.

9. Not allowed. Spam or mass DMs, posting in communities against their rules, bidding on "Packyard" in search ads, coupon-site listings, fake accounts, and incentivised signups (e.g. paying people to sign up). Breaking these rules means we may withhold commission on the affected referrals and end the partnership.

10. Changes. We may change the commission rate or the code perk for new referrals with 30 days' notice by email. Referred Customers you already have keep the terms they started with.

11. Ending. If either side ends the partnership, commission on referrals made before the end is still paid until their 6-month window closes, as long as these terms were followed.
