Join the beta waitlist

Beta testers get 50% off for servers started by 6 December 2026. The beta opens to the US & Canada (outside Quebec) first, and anyone can join the waitlist. It's free, with no card needed.

One-click modpacks, really included

Choose a pack from CurseForge or Modrinth and we install the server side, matching versions and Java automatically. Switch packs or update when you want.

Backups you don't have to think about

Automatic daily backups, plus a one-click restore when someone blows up the base. Restores are free.

An address that never changes

Your friends connect to yourserver.play.packyard.ca and that's it. When we upgrade or move hardware, your address stays the same, with no "new IP, update your server list" messages. Every server sits behind our DDoS-filtered network.

$1.50 per GB of RAM per month, with a $5 minimum. That's the whole formula.

RAMPriceGood for
3 GB$5vanilla+ with a few friends
4 GB$6light packs
8 GB$12Cobblemon, Create, most packs with friends
12 GB$18bigger kitchen-sink packs

Every plan includes backups, the modpack installer, your own address and DDoS protection.

Optional add-on: extra backups (30-day retention, twice the backup slots).

All prices in USD, plus applicable taxes.

Beta perk: 50% off during the beta, for servers started by 6 December 2026. That's $0.75/GB, so 8 GB costs $6/month until public launch. After that it's the normal $1.50/GB, and we'll email you at least 14 days before the price changes. The beta is open to the US & Canada (outside Quebec) first.

FAQ

Who can join the beta?

Anyone can join the waitlist. The paid beta opens to players in the US & Canada (outside Quebec) first, because that's where we can bill properly from day one. Everywhere else: stay on the list and we'll email you as soon as we open where you are. Europe comes after public launch, once we're set up there. Tell us where you are on the form, because it decides where we open next.

How much RAM does my modpack need?

As a rule of thumb, 6–8 GB for Cobblemon or Create packs with a few friends, and 10–12 GB+ for big kitchen-sink packs. We show a recommendation for each pack before you buy, and you can resize later.

Will my server lag?

Your full RAM is reserved for you whenever your server is running. Every pack in the installer comes with a recommended RAM size, based on its published requirements.

Is there a catch on backups?

No. Automatic backups and restores are included on every plan. Extra backups are an optional add-on.

Can I bring my existing world?

Yes. During the beta, the panel's web file manager takes small files, and packs install through the modpack installer.

Can I use my own domain?

Not at launch. Every server gets its own permanent address on ours.

Do you support Bedrock?

Not at launch. Java Edition only.

Where are your servers?

US and Canada (outside Quebec) for the beta. Europe comes after public launch, once we're set up there. Tell us where your players are on the form: the waitlist decides where we open next.

When does the beta start, and what does it cost?

In a few weeks. People on the waitlist in the US & Canada (outside Quebec) get invited in order, in batches. The beta is paid, at 50% off for servers started by 6 December 2026: you add a card when you create your server and pay half price ($0.75/GB a month, plus applicable taxes) until public launch. After that it's the normal $1.50/GB. We'll email you at least 14 days before the price changes, and you can cancel any time from the panel.

Why do you need a card for the beta?

It keeps out abuse and stolen cards, and a paying beta tells us honestly whether we're worth it. Paying the 50% beta price gets you the same servers, backups and support as everyone else. If you're under 18, you'll need a parent or guardian to pay.
