How much RAM does an RLCraft server need?
We recommend 5 GB for a small group, and that's the size preselected on the order page. Public guides put 2–5 players at about 6 GB and 6–10 players at about 8 GB. RLCraft is lighter on CPU than the big tech packs; most of its load comes from mobs and exploring new terrain, so pre-generating your world helps.
Price
$1.50 per GB of RAM per month, with a $5 minimum (up to 3 GB). A 5 GB RLCraft server is $7.50 a month.
Beta: 50% off for servers started by 6 December 2026, so 5 GB is $3.75 a month. We'll email you at least 14 days before the price changes. All prices in USD, plus applicable taxes. Money-back on your first payment within 72 hours.
The beta is open to the US & Canada (outside Quebec).
FAQ
Which RLCraft version do you install?
RLCraft for Minecraft 1.12.2 on Forge. Your players need the same pack version to join.
Can I bring my existing world?
Yes. Small files go through the panel's web file manager; for a larger world, send us a download link at hello@packyard.ca.
Do you support Bedrock?
No. Java Edition only.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time from the panel.
