Is Cobblemon on Bedrock?

Last checked: October 24, 2026

No. Cobblemon is a mod for Minecraft: Java Edition only. It runs on the Fabric and NeoForge mod loaders, which don't exist on Bedrock, so there's no official Cobblemon for Bedrock, Xbox, PlayStation, Switch or phones. If you're on PC, though, you very likely already own Java Edition.

What about the "Cobblemon Bedrock" addons?

Addons with Cobblemon in the name on Bedrock sites are unofficial fan projects, not made by the Cobblemon team. The best-known one says it's unfinished and hasn't been updated since early 2024. Only download from the official pages (Modrinth or CurseForge) to get the real mod.

You probably already own Java Edition (PC)

Since June 2022, Minecraft for PC is sold as Minecraft: Java & Bedrock Edition: if you own either edition on PC, the Minecraft Launcher gives you the other one too. Open the launcher, choose Java Edition, and install Cobblemon from there (our guide: how to play Cobblemon).

Console and phone players

There's no way to run the Cobblemon mod on console or mobile. Some public servers use a bridge so Bedrock players can connect, but that's set up by those servers, and it isn't the same as having the mod installed.

Play Cobblemon with your friends on Java

We install the official Cobblemon modpack for you, on Fabric or NeoForge for Minecraft 1.21.1. Friends on Java install the same pack and join a permanent address like my-server.play.packyard.ca. Our servers are Java Edition only, so Bedrock players can't join. Servers run in Seattle (US West).
